Gary Bourton is Chief Executive Officer at QiO Technologies, where he leads the company’s strategic growth, operational execution, and mission to deliver measurable business outcomes for industrial customers through AI-powered software. A proven leader in scaling start-ups, Gary brings a unique blend of commercial acumen, operational discipline, and deep industry insight across IT Services, Energy Management, and industrial IoT.
With a track record of transforming early-stage companies into customer-focused, revenue-generating organisations, Gary is passionate about building high-performing teams and delivering technology that creates real-world impact. Prior to becoming CEO, Gary held global leadership roles across Operations, Customer Success, and Revenue in both start-ups and established enterprises, including as Global SVP at an Industrial IoT scale-up.
Gary sits on the Board of Governors at Long Road Sixth Form College, is Trustee at The Sixth Form Colleges Trust, where he also serves as Chairman of the Remuneration Committee, and is an active volunteer with the Cambridge City Food Bank. He holds professional certifications in Customer Success, Project Management, and Governance, and studied Management & Leadership at Loughborough Business School.

Rebecca Ranich

Rebecca Ranich, President of Exenico LLC, stands out for her strategic acumen in the energy sector, offering 30+ years of international expertise in investment and risk management. At Deloitte Consulting, she led Energy and Sustainability Advisory Services, addressing energy and climate challenges. Her prior role at Michael Baker Corporation involved overseeing major energy projects in Russia, Europe, and the Caspian, totaling over $40 billion.
Currently, Rebecca serves on the National Fuel Gas board of directors and chairs the Nominating and Governance Committee. She is actively involved in the Johns Hopkins Technology Ventures Mentor Program, while advising WAVE Equity Partners, leveraging her insight into sustainable energy practices and disruptive technology to enhance high-risk infrastructure investments. Her vision and leadership continue to drive the industry forward.
Mark Robinson

Mark Robinson has over 28 years of investing and energy industry experience. For the past 10 years, Mark has led investments in sustainability focused hard-tech solutions as a Founder and Managing Director at Wave Equity Partners.
An industry veteran, Mark is regarded as a trusted professional and thoughtful collaborator. Mark’s key responsibilities include building teams at WAVE and the companies we invest in. The passion and entrepreneurial spirit that move Mark forward helps inspire others to achieve their goals.
Prior to founding Wave, Mark was a Managing Director at VIMAC Ventures where he invested in IT startups. Before that, he was a senior member of a new management team that was integral in turning around Dynapower/Stratopower (a division of General Signal). Mark’s background has led him to be an expert in developing business models, identifying talent and sourcing high-caliber (complementary) leadership.
Ryan Parker

Ryan Parker is a growth-focused operator and product strategist with deep experience scaling platform businesses at the intersection of hardware, software, and AI. As President & COO of Phononic, he is driving the company’s transformation into a category-defining leader in datacenter infrastructure- expanding its product footprint, accelerating operational scale, and positioning the business for sustained, market-leading growth.
Ryan’s career spans over 20 years of building high-impact teams and launching technologies that have reshaped categories. From hyperscale cloud and edge infrastructure to AI-driven real estate and IoT platforms, his work has enabled market share gains, strategic pivots, and category creation across startups and global enterprises.
While at Intel, he led multiple turnaround and growth initiatives, including the company’s first enterprise IoT strategy and a modernised cloud roadmap that helped restore datacenter leadership. He also led the development of a globally adopted SDI platform and commercialised Intel’s Responsive Retail Platform®, an industry-first edge-to-cloud IoT solution deployed across dozens of customers and partners. His teams earned several Intel Achievement Awards, reflecting industry-first innovation and market impact.
Beyond Intel, Ryan has built and launched enterprise SaaS products as a startup founder and product leader, including losci.ai, a spatial analytics platform recognised by Unity for excellence in engineering and design. His cross-functional leadership spans product, GTM, operations, and strategy, with a consistent focus on delivering customer value and business results.
Ryan holds a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Montana State University, an MBA from Arizona State University, and has completed executive programs at Stanford and UVA Darden. He resides in Phoenix, AZ.
