Leverages region’s growing data science community, as company adds staff to expand its Industry 4.0 platform and software offerings

19 November 2018, London, UK – QiO Technologies, which provides predictive analytics and artificial intelligence software to help global industrials and manufacturers quickly improve operational efficiency, productivity and safety, announced the opening of its new Miami office. QiO’s Chief Technology Officer, Sasha Jovicic heads the new office which will leverage the area’s fast-growing data science talent community and attract new team members.

Commenting on the choice of Florida as the preferred destination for expanding QiO's operations, Sasha Jovicic said "Three cities in Florida feature among the top 50 talent destinations in the U.S. for software talent. We believe that this provides us with a great location to set up and scale QiO's AI and product development center."

With the expansion, QiO joins other tech companies such as Google, Twitter, Facebook, Uber, Lyft and Vice who have opened offices in Miami, adding to the region’s growing technology community. According to techcrunch.com, Miami is now the second most entrepreneurial city in the U.S., with the highest startup density in the country.

QiO, which was included in the 2018 Gartner Magic Quadrant on Industrial IoT Platforms, works with global manufactures and industrials including Rolls-Royce, Lloyd’s Register, Saudi Global Ports and BFG.
