Rick is a highly seasoned industrial leader with a career spanning nearly 40 years in the hydrocarbon, cement, industrial controls, network payments, chemicals, electronics and glass sectors. He was CEO of Blue Circle and Invensys, now part of Schneider; and is currently non-executive chairman of the Boards of MasterCard International and Centrica.
A technology visionary with six industrial software patents, Baz has held executive leadership positions at GE, Emerson Electric and Invensys, now part of Schneider; and has over 30 years of technology experience across the UK, US and Asia.
Baz has a Master’s degree in computer science, brought to market software products from idea to industry leaders and has won a number of industry awards. Married with two boys, outside of work he enjoys gardening, taking walks with their German shepherd Yoda and reading.
As the QiO HR Director, Martin leads the development of the Human Capital and Legal functions of the organisation. He is an international Director who has worked and lived abroad throughout his career, working for manufacturing companies such as Shell, BOC Gases, PepsiCo and Nestlé and more recently in the technology sector with Vertu and Kronos. With an MBA and FCIPD, he is married with two boys and enjoys exercising with his dog called Scooby.
Steve leads QiO’s Product Sustainability, Customer Support, IT, and Security teams. A consistent innovator with 30 US patents, Steve brings more than 30 years of technical and organizational experience to the company. Prior to joining QiO, he held senior leadership and technology positions at Emerson Network Power (now Vertiv), Adtran, Centillium, and Motorola. He holds an MBA and a BSEE.
Steve and his wife live in Huntsville, AL, and they have two adult children and two Yorkshire Terriers, Sugar and Cupcake. He enjoys traveling with his family and a variety of outdoor activities.
Sasha leads Software Development teams. Sasha brings more than 20 years of software development experience in enterprise software, software products and frameworks. Prior to QiO, Sasha was Lead Designer and Systems Design Manager at Emerson Network Power, delivering Software Frameworks and Products for DCIM Market. Sasha holds an Aerospace Engineering degree.
Sasha enjoys spending time on the beach, sea kayaking, playing tennis and riding his mountain bike. Sasha lives in South Florida, USA with his wife, three children, two cats and a dog called Pera.
Bob brings over 30 years of knowledge and experience to QiO’s leadership team having lead global marketing, strategy, communications, and customer experience teams in the technology and software sectors. Prior to joining QiO, Bob held executive roles including Chief Marketing Officer at Asset Performance Technologies, Sr. Vice President of Marketing and Customer Success at Liquidity Services, Vice President of Marketing at Meridium, and Director of Global Field Marketing at Aspen Technology. Bob has an MBA from LeTourneau University, a BS from California Polytechnic San Luis Obispo, and has continued his education completing courses in Business Analytics and Big Data at Harvard Business School’s Executive Education program.
Outside of work, Bob can usually be found on his bicycle, often at a velodrome. The former professional cyclist is still racing today in the Masters league and runs a non-profit foundation providing support and development programs for America’s young track cyclists.
As Finance Director, Ed is responsible for all aspects of finance and acts as the performance conscience of the business with end-to-end profitability and cash management accountability. Ed was ‘Big 4’ trained at KPMG with a background in corporate turnaround having worked in the firm’s Restructuring advisory practice throughout the global financial crisis.
Previously, as Head of FP&A at Experian plc, Ed led the delivery of all financial planning and analysis for the dynamic EMEA region of the FTSE100 software, data and analytics business. He qualified as an accountant whilst at KPMG and is now a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
Gary joined QiO from Rolls-Royce, having spent 25 years developing real-time safety-critical control systems for aero-engines. As a keen strategist and innovator, Gary was a key leader in the adoption of ‘Lean Product Development’ and the ‘Internet of Things’ within Rolls-Royce, deeply engaging with the associated culture change. From both a Chief Engineer and a Functional Head perspective, Gary has loved working in teams that are delivering customer value with exciting technology products.
A keen guitarist, he lives in Oxford with his partner, their young son, 2 horses and a cat.
